How to Cancel Proton VPN?

Method 1: Cancel via Proton website (recommended)

This works for plans bought directly from Proton (most common case). Subscriptions bought through Google Play or Apple App Store must be cancelled in those stores — see Methods 2 and 3.

1. Go to account.proton.me and sign in with your Proton account.
2. Click Dashboard in the left sidebar.
3. Open the Subscriptions tab.
4. Click Manage subscription next to your VPN plan.
5. Select Cancel subscription and confirm.

Method 2: Cancel a Proton VPN subscription bought on Android

Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, find Proton VPN, and tap Cancel. Refunds must be requested through Google, not Proton.

Method 3: Cancel a Proton VPN subscription bought on iOS

Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Proton VPN → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles the refund; Proton cannot issue it directly.
